Chena/Gators LMR recap- updated

Head Coach Anchie

By Coach Daniel,

Last weekend Gators co-host, with Chena, our annual swim meet. This event is marking the transition between the first half and second half of the season.

Along our 50 swimmers from Elite to Silver group, 200 swimmers from 8 other clubs participated in this event. For two days and four sessions our swimmers were able to test challenging events and were able to achieve personal best times and show the motivation our swimmers have.

Morning session was designed for the young swimmers. Our junior elite, junior, gold, and silver groups displayed a great evolution in their technique and speed.

Afternoon sessions host our most experienced swimmers (Elite, Senior and Youth A). These groups use this opportunity to challenge themselves in non-usual events and were motivated to achieve their best times.

Besides our swimmers, parents from our club allowed the event to run smoothly. This effort rounds up the teamwork value from our team.  We recognize and appreciate the contribution from parents, swimmers, and coaches to the clubs events.

While long course swim meets will be next on our calendar, our competitive groups will have a spring break for one week and they are looking forward on being back to practices on Mar 23, 2026.
